Janelle Arthur grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee. She began performing at Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, when she was eight years old, portraying one of her musical heroes, a young Dolly Parton! From that time and thousands of shows later, Janelle has garnered a Top 5 finalist spot on “American Idol” (Season 12), has been a guest on “Today,” “Live with Kelly & Michael,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Access Hollywood” and “Today in Nashville.”
Thanks to her loyal followers, her social media fan base is now around 150,000 combined across all social media platforms.
As an entertainer, Janelle has had the pleasure of opening for or performing with Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Craig Morgan, The Band Perry and the Little River Band. Her lifetime dream to perform on the world famous “Grand Ole Opry” became a reality on June 19, 2013, and she has been a repeat guest over 20 times since then!
Arthur has proven to be a multi-dimensional entertainer. She is a songwriter, recording artist, actress, and has recently provided background vocals for some of Nashville’s brightest new recording artists. While she possesses many talents, music remains her passion! She is looking forward to releasing new music and performing more shows on the road this year.
Janelle makes her film debut starring in Runnin’ From My Roots, alongside country music artist Deana Carter, playing her mother.
