Gabrielle Evans-Fields was born and raised in Southern California and studied film studies with a concentration of development at UCLA. She is the author of the forthcoming Bradley Nowell biography, “Roots of Creation.” Her independent production company Silver Lining Pictures focuses on insightful, thought-provoking cinema.
She has many years of experience in development from working with the best. One of her many strengths is unlocking each project’s true potential by finding the depth within each film and developing the characters to reach their full potential. In both producing and casting, she has a natural knack for “seeing the bigger picture.”
Gabrielle has an eye for discovering talent and bringing the creative artist to the project. As a casting director, her credits include such feature films “Runnin’ From My Roots,” “Painted Horses,” “Windsor,” “August Falls,” “Cutback,” “Broken,” “Garbage,” and “Parasomnia” in addition to dozens of films.
Nancy’s entrepreneurial spirit is the source which energizes her to find opportunities and create success in everything she puts her mind to. A successful businesswoman, building an incredible express delivery service which sold for over $1M, Nancy uses the same hard work, ethics, creative strategy and negotiating skills when she is wearing her producer hat.
To date, she has produced and directed several award-winning films and dozens of features. Nancy has directed numerous award-winning films, most recently…“A Horse for Summer,” “Deadly Sanctuary,” “The Sparrows: Nesting” and “Fishes n’ Loaves: Heaven Sent.” Her current film is “Runnin’ From My Roots” starring Janelle Arthur, Nia Sioux, Patrick Muldoon, Leigh Allyn-Baker and Janine Turner.
Even with all the challenges and long hours in filmmaking, in an ever-increasing competitive marketplace, Nancy finds time to enjoy competing in the Professional Women’s Rodeo Association, riding and roping; and spending time with her daughter.
Growing up in an Air Force family, Ken traveled extensively in his youth, developing a love for design, prompting him to pursue a career in landscape architecture. After creating a successful design business, Ken turned his attention to screenwriting.
Ken’s first feature screenplay, DRUM an international espionage/thriller garnered over two dozen awards at prestigious film festivals and screenplay competitions. His screenplays explore the power of the human spirit against adversities big and small.
Films based on Ken’s screenplays include SAVED BY GRACE starring Joey Lawrence, THE SPARROWS: NESTING starring Kevin Sorbo, FISHES ‘N LOAVES starring Bruce Davison, and A HORSE FOR SUMMER starring Dean Cain. Recent releases include SAVE THIS DANCE starring Brad Daugherty and RUNNIN’ FROM MY ROOTS starring Aaron O’Connell, Janelle Arthur, and Janine Turner.
Films in pre-production include THE ROBINSONS (family adventure feature), THE EDGE OF ETERNITY (thriller/horror feature) and THE TWELVE STRAYS OF CHRISTMAS (holiday/feature). Projects in development include NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS, an adventure/novel adaptation for Chrissy Blumenthal (“Pursuit of Happiness”), GREEN CITY SAVIOR an environmental thriller/ adaptation for David L. Snyder (“Blade Runner”), and WILDWOOD SPRINGS, a family-friendly television drama series created/written for Harvey Lowry (Ascension Media).
Ken is currently completing a MOW Thriller for Lifetime Television and a war/drama feature based on a true story. Named 2014-2015 Writer of the Year at the Action on Film International Film Festival, Ken is included in the recently released book “The Top 50 Indy Screenwriters in the World.”
